Walking on tour:
Travelers should be prepared for some moderate walking in Scotland. Edinburgh, built on extinct volcanoes, can be hilly and uneven, especially around the Castle. There are also some narrow surroundings and steps while touring the sites. Inverness also has some hilly regions, and any explorations or walks in the Highlands (your choice) will involve moderate climbs.
